The Rare Breed Motorcycle Club William P. Sweezer, Jr. MD FACS “Code Blue” Scholarship of Excellence has been established in honor of Dr. William P. Sweezer Jr. a dedicated member of Rare Breed MC until his passing. This scholarship is to exemplify the "Spirit of Excellence" that Dr. Sweezer strived daily to accomplish through deeds that impacted families and communities with his message of Service. The recipient of this scholarship has demonstrated through their academic studies, service to their community, perseverance; character and integrity, the true "Spirit of Excellence" that Dr. Sweezer strived for through his works.

The purpose for this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a graduating high school senior who will be attending an accredited technical/community college or academic college or university. This individual best exemplifies not only academic excellence but also leadership and service to their community.
